ALBUM UPDATE

06/09/2015

We’ve half kept this in the shadows, but CELLADOR has spent the last 6 months demoing, rehearsing, and recording a dozen brand new songs for our long awaited next album. The recording process has taken the band between several recording studios, including our own rehearsal space, Chris’s home studio, Diego’s setup in LA, and finally on its way to Massachusetts for its final process of mixing and mastering.
We’d like to update everyone by saying that artwork is completed, songs are tracked, and the final stages of mixing and mastering for the album are upon us. We have already heard one song completely mixed and mastered, and it is HUGE. One of the boomiest productions any of us have heard, comparing side by side to our own modern metal collections. The excitement is intense. We’re so ready to unleash these tracks to you all… the wait will be validated!
Some of the songs written are brand new, and some are taken from the final songwriting sessions of the long-past Cellador “Enter Deception” lineup, songs that really couldn’t be passed up. In other words, for those of you who remember the “For All Or Nothing” album announced years back, a few of the songs from those demos have been completely re-recorded, enhanced, and finalized for this album. It will most likely be a 10 song release, but we’ll see what happens last minute here.
Though we’ve had so many delays with regards to release logistics, scheduling delays, and contractual agreements that have had hiccups, we’re happy to say we’re nearing the light at the end of the tunnel. Our number one priority is to release the album to our fans ASAP, and not nitpick over rights, numbers, and negotiations.
So as of today, the band is returning to our weekly practice regimes, and starting the next chapter. And it feels good! Watch soon for our announcement and perhaps new song posted! Oh, and its looking like we have a Summer USA co-headlining tour in the works as well alongside a *mystery* band!
Cheers guys. Good times ahead \m/
